Meet the #1 selling MELTZ sandwich for three years running. This sandwich was inspired by a taste of Jalapeño bacon at a food show. That perfect amount of heat gave me the idea to come up with flavors from North and South of the border.


Obviously the heat is a tip of the hat to Mexico, while the buttermilk fried onions and ranch are very American. The tangyness of the buttermilk helps cut the fat of the cheese. Rounding out the flavor profile with roasted garlic and then closing it up with Colby and Pepper-jack cheeses just makes for a perfect balance of textures, spice and acid in this sandwich.
